My grandson loves it, and his parents have been known to swish it around, too. I have one myself for annual costume parties (Luke Skywalker), and decided that it would be a lifetime gift for the grandkids who are Star Wars fans–thus justifying the expense.

Well I recieved mine today and was a bit anxious to see how it pared up with my other sabers. I knew it was a good length shorter no problem because I was going to let my nephew play with it.
Cons 1 But It is quite a bit thinner also very surprised about this. 2 Sound a bit of crakle in the speaker not as good quality as some of the older ones.
3 There is a bit of delay with the strike on this as others have commented and sometimes my hum seems to want to cut out.
Summary Great sword that I will let my nephew enjoy and better Yet a bit down the road a great light Saber I won’t feel bad about RIPPING APART to use for one of my upcoming custom sabers because then a premium speaker will be installed and any shorts fixed at that time to be put in a much superior product that you can actually dual with.
If you want this as a WOW factor you will be dissapointed if you are getting this for a donor for the sound board perfect choice. Or your a die hard fan who has to have it all by all means get it. Otherwise stick with Darth Vadar Sword, Obi Wan, Darth Maul ect for a better product with an actual WOW factor instead of Oh how neat a Light Saber reaction.
